As part of a multi-disciplinary team you will provide functional assessments which are then processed and passed to the Department of Work and Pensions. The practitioner group includes nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and doctors

Conducting face to face and remote online meetings to carry out and document assessments on how a persons’ condition affects their daily life and in work related activities. Working towards defined targets within a clear and structured framework and within a team environment and strong leadership.

During the times of pandemic this role is a combination of home working and office environment.

You will have:

HCPC Registration with no restrictions on practice

2 years recent broad-based medical experience with adults

Interpersonal skills and be adept at relationship building

Main Responsibilities include:

To undertake a combination of file-work and face-to face assessments of customers in relation to a variety of benefits

Using IT software programmes to support clinical decision making when undertaking file-work and examinations

Providing comprehensive reports to enable Decision Makers to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims
