Our Outpatient clinic Reception and Prep services are vital for patient care with over Apply patient appointments per year. Team members working in these service areas are usually the first point of contact for our patients and this sets the quality standard for their journey within the hospital. Excellent customer service skills are, therefore, essential to provide our patients with the experience you would wish for yourself, your relatives and loved ones. These are busy and challenging reception areas seeing sometimes hundreds of patients every day.

We have exciting full time opportunities in our team and if you feel you can positively impact on the patient experience we want to hear from you. Computer skills are required and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and other visitors. You will preferably have some customer/patient facing experience in a busy environment and you will need to be adaptable and committed to an important role. Full training for the whole range of duties is provided. You will be supported and welcomed to the MFT family if you are successful.

Our teams work on a rota system providing support at both ends of the day. The hours you would be required to work will be fully discussed at interview. This is due to the ever changing face of the hospital and the way that outpatients will be reviewed in the future it is possible that weekend and evening working will be required and flexibility from candidates is a priority
