The role of the Administrator in the service is fundamental and plays a huge role in the day to day operation and running of the service. If you are looking for a challenging, rewarding and varied role in the healthcare setting and want to develop your administration skills and experience in an environment where no two days are the same, we have the position for you. HM Prison Feltham is a prison for male juveniles and Young Offenders Institution, located near the town of Feltham in west London, Hounslow, England. This is a permanent full time role to work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Salary for this role is £17,500 per annum . We are looking to recruit an administrator to join our team to support the day to day running of the healthcare department.
About the Job:
Role is responsible for carrying out general administrative duties within prison. Work within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and staff enquiries. A key responsibility is the collection and collation of accurate service performance data for internal and external reporting requirements. The situation in the prison can change at any minute. You need to be able to communicate effectively, work as part of a team and follow instruction diligently. It’s this variety that keeps things fresh and stimulating. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences but you’ll have all the support you need to deliver the best practice possible from both the healthcare team and the prison team. The applicant needs to be confident in a prison setting as the office will be based on a prison wing.
If you are an enthusiastic, energetic person with great communication skills, you will be a perfect fit for the position. You will be able to work as part of a team effectively but also under your own initiative. Experience working within a healthcare setting as administrator would be essential.
