The Bupa Cromwell Hospital is recruiting for an Occupational Therapy Lead to be responsible for the clinical leadership and development of our small Occupational Therapy service and also to support operational management and development other multidisciplinary services in the Therapy Department. It also includes deputising for the Therapy Manager as and when necessary.
The Therapy Department includes occupational therapy, physiotherapy, massage therapy and speech and language therapy. This post includes both a clinical and management role. Occupational Therapy at The Cromwell covers a range of physical conditions for both adults and children; in-and outpatients. It includes mostly oncology, orthopaedics, hand therapy, neurology and cardiology.
This role is a chance for you to lead and shape the Occupational Therapy and other therapy services. You will proactively lead the day to day management of these services ensuring an efficient and safe service for all. Your role in people management will be to inspire others through your actions and support Bupa's vision, mission statement and values, continually promoting best practice and encouraging your team to develop and challenge themselves.
