Principal HSE Advisor, Stevenage, Full Time, up to £47,000pa + package
I am looking for a Principal HSE Advisor to join my client, a market leading manufacturer of technology for defence applications in Stevenage.
The successful candidate will be supporting management and employees on site and during trials in the area of health, safety and environmental aspects. You will work closely with a number of departments in the business, including engineering, manufacturing and security.
You will be ensuring that the Company SHE policies and procedures are effectively implemented in the south east regional sites through the provision of support/assistance to managers/employees ensuring good safety standards are maintained and contribute to a safety culture of continual improvement.
This role will be working in a dynamic, focussed team responsible for the development and implementation of robust safety and environmental standards across the business.
Essential skills and attributes:
Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (level 6 preferred).
Certificate in Environmental management.
Significant experience and expertise in specialist field.
Broad understanding of manufacturing and laboratory technologies.
Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels in the organisation.
Excellent communication skills, ability to translate complex information into easily to understand working text.
This is a Full Time position, 37 hours per week, paying a salary up to £47,000pa + package.
