Regional Clinical Manager Job Berkshire
Job Type: Permanent, full time
Purpose/particulars of the Job:
To provide clinical support to a region of clinics. It is anticipated that one day per week will be set aside for non-clinical work to allow performance of this role. This role is an extension of a Lead Physiotherapist position and therefore only available to Lead Physiotherapists to apply for internally. The accountabilities and responsibilities are in additional to that of a Lead Physiotherapist.
*Degree/ Diploma in Physiotherapy
*Min 6 years Post Graduate relevant MSK experience
*HCPC & CSP registration
*Post graduate qualification in manual therapy
*Record of relevant CPD
*Completed MSc level modules, or willingness towards full MSc or similar
*Experience of working in the private sector
*Experience of performing at a Lead Physiotherapist level (internal applicants)
*Experience of mentoring and training junior members of a clinical team
*To organise and deliver where required the clinical inductions and training for new members of the clinical teams
*Utilising the Lead Physiotherapists where appropriate provide mentorship and training where required to more junior members of the clinical team and arrange periodic reviews to evaluate progress
*To review and maintain the company's Governance Framework
*To review and maintain the company's Clinical Audit program
*To implement, train and roll out any updates to the Governance framework
*To perform and carry out periodic clinical audits and reviews in conjunction with the audit program
*To ensure the clinics maintain compliance with the Companies Governance Framework
*To organise the company's CPD timetable
*To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998
*To comply with current Health and Safety legislation and training
*To interview potential new clinical staff
*To be responsible for investigating and dealing with clinical complaints
*To get in involved with any "ad-hoc" projects that may arise from time to time such as new systems and processes
*To assist where required in any tender applications and subsequent roll out of the service
*To support the commercial director in developing regional customer links.
To support the development and monitoring of quality management information related to new services.
