Part time Permanent Forensic or Clinical Psychologist required in Kent.
The hospital offers a range of psychiatric and therapeutic services to adolescents and adults in the CAMHS and Low Secure inpatient services. Our client is looking for an HCPC registered forensic or clinical psychologist to join the complex low secure service.
You would be joining a psychological therapy team consisting of an addictions counsellor and assistant psychologists to support service users in their recovery journey.
The post holder would be responsible for facilitating groups and individual therapy, providing supervision to Assistant Psychologists and Doctoral Trainees, conducting highly specialised assessments and consulting with the MDT in collaboratively working with service users with a range of complex mental health needs.
With doctoral level qualifications in clinical or forensic psychology, and registered with the HCPC, you may also have post-doctoral training in one or more specialised areas such as DBT or Schema therapy, and at least one year post-qualification experience in mental health services or working in secure or forensic services. The client will also consider candidates who are close to being registered with the HCPC.
