Independent Assessment Services is inviting Nurses, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Occupational Therapists to join our highly skilled PIP disability analyst team for a rewarding opportunity based in one of our London assessment centres in Islington, Vauxhall, Wandsworth or Deptford.
At Independent Assessment Services, we carry out Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions. We deliver fair, accurate, independent and objective assessments of how claimants are affected by their health condition.
Our purpose is to help ensure that the correct benefits go to the individuals who truly need them.
Disability Analyst – The role
There is enormous variety in this role. You meet a lot of different people, you work with colleagues from across the healthcare profession, and you constantly learn about different health conditions.
There is specific and ongoing training, and the role involves:
• Face-to-face assessments with claimants either at one of our
centres or at the claimant’s home.
• Compiling detailed medical reports on the claimant’s welfare and
There’s a lot of analysis involved and a certain amount of investigation. It also requires good report writing skills and the ability to work autonomously, but with the back-up of a great support network.
