CAMHS Associate Specialist
Initial interest is welcomed for a full time substantive Associate Specialist position, with a leading provider of specialist inpatient CAMHS for young people in the East of England.
The hospital provides CAMHS Low Secure inpatient services for children and adolescents of both genders aged 12 to 18 with a range of mental health disorders and complex needs and who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Presentations include young people experiencing psychotic episodes, those with emerging personality disorders, complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and those with autism.

Candidates will ideally have two years post qualification experience in psychiatry, inclusive of one year in CAMHS or other related service for young people. Section 12 Approval is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
The appointed post holder will have full professional support for on-going clinical training, CPD and Medical Governance, and the opportunity to participate in clinical research and audit projects.
