Lead Occupational Therapist - Mental Health

We are seeking a capable and experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join our client's Mental Health Unit, based in a small, attractive rural community near Hook, Hampshire, close to Fleet Services on the M3
Our client is a major provider of UK mental health care; dedicated to patients' wellbeing, offering a high standard of services, inspiring innovation, and providing programmes that are individually tailored toward patients' recovery and rehabilitation.
The successful candidate will manage and lead the Occupational Therapy Department using evidence based and patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, which provide patients with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for independent living.
BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, together with a full BAOT membership and HCPC registration.
A minimum of three years' post-registration experience and one year working within a secure or acute setting.
A confident people manager, with excellent communication skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
