Redford Hearth are assisting a leading Healthcare organisation in recruiting a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry. The organisation operates over 30 services including Private Mental Health Hospitals, Supported Living schemes for Learning Disabilities, Elderly Nursing Homes and Specialist Schools. Most of these services are in and around the East Midlands area, with some as far as South Wales. The company is expanding its operations in the Mental Health Care field, with a newly acquired MH Hospital opened this year close to East Midlands airport, as well as another in the pipeline for acquisition.
The position is for a Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry to assist at group level in treating patients at their 3 Mental Health hospitals and an Acquired Brain Injury unit. Patient groups are Male and Female adults with a range of ‘general’ psychiatric conditions including personality disorder, severe depressive illness and organic brain disorders.
Most patients will be in a Locked Rehabilitation setting having been referred by the NHS and other Independent providers. Patients may be Male or Female, generally of working age (18-65years) or Elderly in a nursing home displaying organic brain disorders. The company also operate an Acquired Brain Injury Unit which will also house patients for assessment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a C3 Psychiatrist to join a growing organisation and gain experience with a truly broad spectrum of patients and illnesses.
The successful applicant will be GMC registered and have completed their core training (C1-C3) and now looking to specialise in General Adult Psychiatry.
