Physiotherapist - Nottingham
Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England
Championing the rights of the individual
With more than 50 hospitals and clinics currently in our portfolio and plans to keep expanding, there’s never been a more exciting time to join Spire Healthcare. We believe in investing both in our people and the facilities they use to do their jobs, as the combination of a highly skilled team working with the most cutting-edge techniques leads to outstanding results. It’s the reason why thousands of patients trust us to take care of their every health need, and it’s precisely why our staff are so loyal to us and this unique healthcare model.
Our physiotherapy team provide an essential role in giving people a good quality of life. From your first assessment of a patient through to demanding sessions – sometimes with people who are having a hard time accepting their limitations – you will continually modify their healthcare needs and provide them with the capabilities to be independent. That may mean advising on equipment to be used at home, or it may mean using specialist techniques. You will also advise and train junior members of staff, providing strong leadership and guidance.
Working within quality assurance guidelines, you will use your extensive physiotherapy experience to gain the trust of Consultants, ensuring the department continues to grow thanks to an increasing number of referrals. As an HPC registered Physiotherapist you will have knowledge of working in multi-disciplinary teams, and your literary and numeracy skills will support your understanding of working within the context of a professional health agenda. Good communication skills and powers of persuasion will be the icing on the cake.
So if you’re ready to join a team where professional development is a key priority, your working environment will be supportive and your patients will always come first, then we’ve got a role for you.
