Permanent Practitioner Psychologist required in Cambridgeshire for a CAMHS Community Residential service.
Our client can consider Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists to work within the multidisciplinary team offering therapeutic input to young people
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Band 8a equivalent - Salary up to £45,000 pa.

As the Practitioner Psychologist, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Multi-Disciplinary Team in delivering a psychologically-informed service necessary to meet the needs of this complex client group.
The appointee would preferably have 1 – 2 years post qualification experience and ideally with children.
The post-holder will be required to provide specialist psychological opinion, guidance and consultation to other professionals within the team and help foster collaborative working relationships with residential care staff. This includes the development and application of agreed components of staff training, development, and reflective practice programmes. It will be expected that the successful candidate will attend Looked after Children reviews.
This post requires a psychologist who thrives as an autonomous, self-directed practitioner, and who enjoys working as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team. It will suit an Practitioner Psychologist who has 1 -2 years post-qualification experience and who is committed to the supervision and development of Assistant and Trainee Psychologists and who is keen to foster a coherent and cohesive children’s psychology service.
