Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Woodbourne Priory Hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 57 service users.
Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addiction, the hospital have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care. Our highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists, deliver personalised treatment programmes and a range of therapies.
As the HR lead and manager of a small team, the successful candidate will provide guidance and support to the Hospital leadership team with regards HR policy and procedure and to ensure effective and consistent employment practices are in place at site. They will ensure that Priory colleagues are recruited, on-boarded and paid in a manner that fits with our purpose and behaviours whilst liaising and building robust relationships with HR colleagues across the division to create consistency and best practice.
Specifically key responsibilities for the role are; the co-ordination of and facilitating interviews, investigations and hearings ensuring processes and procedures comply with Priory's policies and employment legislation and good HR practice.
An effective communicator at all levels the successful candidate will be CIPD qualified and educated to degree level or equivalent with strong experience working within a Human Resources role. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and work to deadlines and have a good proficiency for the standard range of office applications.
