SNR Hospital Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our client's pharmacy service at their large hospital site based in Central London.
This is a full-time permanent role, however our client may be in a position to consider a part-time opportunity, however fixed/rigid rostering cannot be accommodated.
Pharmacy hours are 08:30 - 21:00 weekdays and Saturdays 09:00 - 14:30; all staff are expected to rotate accordingly as required.
Please note this is not a training role; candidates must hold current UK Hospital Pharmacy experience in order to be considered.

Core Duties of the post
To contribute to the accurate and efficient pharmacy service that our team currently provide to the wards and Dispensary, this will include dispensing for Inpatients ward top ups, and Outpatients.
To liaise with the Distribution and Dispensary Services Co-ordinators in all aspects of the department.
BTEC / ONC qualification in pharmaceutical sciences or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
A minimum of two years experience in a hospital based pharmacy setting; proficient in delivering both and Inpatient and Outpatient service.
To be able to assist with the orientation of junior colleagues and support for new senior colleagues.
A high level of medical and clinical, spoken and written English.
Unrestricted and non time-limited permission to undertake employment in the UK
