Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday & some Weekends

Interest is welcomed for a full time substantive in-patient Associate Specialist (Specialty Doctor) Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist opportunity, with one of the leading providers of independent specialist secure, step-down care, specialist CAMHS and Eating Disorder services across the UK.
The hospital facility, located in the East of England, is a specialist treatment centre for children and young people aged 6-18 years who are diagnosed with an eating disorder and require inpatient care. The service offers a dedicated evidence based treatment programme focussed on supporting young people and their families to manage their eating disorder; an intensive feeding support service for those with high dependency needs and specialist outpatient support; with a total of 24 beds overall.
A highly competitive salary range of up to £85k dependent on experience and additional Company career development pathway and additional benefits package is offered, negotiable in accordance with experience of relevance.
Candidates will ideally have two years post qualification experience in psychiatry, inclusive of one year in CAMHS or other related service for young people. Section 12 Approval is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
The appointed post holder will have full professional support for on-going clinical training, CPD and Medical Governance, and the opportunity to participate in clinical research and audit projects.

•To be on, eligible for, or working towards entry to the GMC Specialist register
•CAMHS experience (Eating Disorder experience an advantage), and sound general medical / physical health skills.
