We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to work with our independent client based in the North East of England on a full time permanent basis.
This client is a very well established independent hospital with a very good reputation from staff and users with fantastic career opportunities available to staff.
Some of the duties are below:-
- To provide specialist psychological assessments of service users admitted to the Hospital based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with service users , family members , outside agency ; and others involved in the service user’s care.
- To formulate and implement care plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a service user’s mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of their problems, and employing therapeutic methods based on evidence.
- To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions, individually and in group settings, adjusting and refining psychological formulations while drawing upon different theoretical models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.
